The Kyathos (from the ancient Greek κυαθος “ladle for wine”) is a Greek bowl-shaped glass with a high, rounded concavity and a characteristic high, elongated, vertical handle. It was used as a ladle to transfer the wine from the crater to the glasses. From the second half of the 5th century B.C. its production is very scarce.
